1956 anyone?😄

Dingo: You have really stirred up the memory bank. In my first year at secondary school (1957 or 58), I ventured into the cafe on Uddingston main street and was greeted by a 'teddy boy' who threw a wooden threepenny bit towards me and called out 'Hey kid play number 15'. My first time ever playing a Juke box and did that make me feel good? The song was Reet Petite by Jackie Wilson (who I had never heard of). I never managed to suss out the words but it put me on cloud nine.
There was definitely something about this new music.
