Well done! And that accordion sounds great. Didn't you say you had interchangeable reedblocks? Is that the LMMM? The tuning there seems like just about the perfect amount of wetness, although the reverb might be adding something.

Yes this is the LMMM. The wetness between the M- and the M is different from the M and M+ wetness. So each combination has a different level of tremolo. MM-, M+, M-M+, M-MM+ are the options. I'm the songs, I used M (dry clarinet), MM+ (noticeably we but not too much) and M-MM+ (very wet).


I've previously read this about why musette tuned accordions have 3 middle blocks instead of just 2 M blocks that are tuned very wet. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. If we have a M+ that is tuned 15 cents higher than M, when they are played together, the effective pitch is +7.5 cents. The M- is tunes 15 cents lower to compensate for this so that the effective pitch is in tune with the left hand.


But since accordions didn't mirror the M+ and M- in order to achieve a wider set of tremolo options with the combinations.
