I saw a YouTube video clip of twin sisters playing an Oktoberfest with a Beer Barrel Polka nature to the song, the happy engrossing performance (sung on roller skates playing steiriche harmonikas) and the size of the event impressed me so much that I searched for, and found, the sheet music (thankfully nice and clear) on AccordionScores.com

The twin sisters are known as ‘Twinnies’ and the song, which appears to be written by them, is called Bayernmädels (Bavarian Girls). I hope that those reading this will enjoy it as much as I did … and still do.

For anyone interested in knowing the Bayernmädels lyrics almost translated into English:

Deep in Bavaria,
There lies some merry ones,
Girls of which who can dance,
Getting up and then they prance!

Cowboys riding in America,
think "Are they awesome? Yes of course!"
Fishermen out on the sea,
also claim that it's their "morning tea"

(CHORUS):
B’varian girls, have such passion,
nobody else can match 'em!
B’varian girls, they're all right,
they'll keep dancing day and night!
B’varian girls, with their song,
clap and dance and sing along!
No one else, in the world,
can outdance a B’varian girl!

"Fantastico grazie",
they'd say in Italy.
Paris and Brussels, they would love
to have B’varian mademoiselles.

Then of course, there’s Tokyo!
Would they exclude them? Oh no!
Moscow, of us they would talk,
of our dance than kazatchok.

(CHORUS):
B’varian girls, have such passion,
nobody else can match 'em!
B’varian girls, they're all right,
they'll keep dancing day and night!
B’varian girls, with their song,
clap and dance and sing along!
No one else, in the world,
can outdance a B’varian girl!

Cuba or Canada,
Zambia or Panama,
They will always seem to know,
B’varian girls are the top show!

Either places, big or small,
B’varian girls are loved by all,
That is why the B’varian girl's
the best ones in the world!

(CHORUS):
B’varian girls, have such passion,
nobody else can match 'em!
B’varian girls, they're all right,
they'll keep dancing day and night!
B’varian girls, with their song,
clap and dance and sing along!
No one else, in the world,
can outdance a B’varian girl!

C'mon get up, dance!
Rise up, do your prance!
Get up, take a whirl,
like a Bavarian girl!

(CHORUS x 2):
B’varian girls, have such passion,
nobody else can match 'em!
B’varian girls, they're all right,
they'll keep dancing day and night!
B’varian girls, with their song,
clap and dance and sing along!
No one else, in the world,
can outdance a B’varian girl!

(CHORUS):
B’varian girls, have such passion,
nobody else can match 'em!
B’varian girls, they're all right,
they'll keep dancing day and night!
B’varian girls, with their song,
clap and dance and sing along!
No one else, in the world,
can outdance a B’varian girl!

Nice! Reminds me a bit of this one (also a good Oktoberfest tune to have under one's belt), and might even have been filmed at the same place! :)

That's the kind of song one can play several times at a gig... or it easily just keeps on going until the people just cannot dance anymore... lol

Hi Rodney, I didn't find "accordionscores.com", but I did find accordion-scores.com - notice the dash. Cheers!
