A shameless piece of self promotion!
I've been surprised to be asked to do six accordion gigs over the next couple of months. If forum members are in the Yorkshire area they'd be most welcome.

The al fresco busking ones, for which strong winds and heavy rain is forecast:
13 April, 2pm-4pm - Kirby Malham Church, North Yorkshire (free)
1 May 10am-12pm - Clapham Church, North Yorkshire (free)

Including music by Yann Tiersen, Sébastien Lagrange and Irish Folk

The more interesting ones which are indoors, three including tea and cakes, are half accordion and half organ:
27 May, 11am - St Bartholomew's Church, Armley, Leeds (free)
15 June, 7.30pm - Clapham Church, North Yorkshire (£10, proceeds to church)
17 June, 1.15pm - Leeds Cathedral, West Yorkshire (free)
21 June, 7.00pm - Giggleswick Church, North Yorkshire (£10, proceeds to church)

Rough programme for these ones will be on the accordion:
Les barricades mystérieuses, Couperin
Berceuse, Vierne
Three Lyric Pieces, Grieg
Closing from Mishima, Glass
Contemplating the Dyonisian Frescoes of St Therapont’s Monastery, Zolotaryov
Sí Bheag, Sí Mhór, O'Carolan

And on the organ:
Prelude and Fugue in A minor BWV543, Bach
The Carman's Whistle, Byrd
Metamorphosis II, Glass
Cathédrales, Vierne
Toccata, Widor

Great work Ben.

You are doing excellent things with the accordion and have the rare ability to build a very nicely balanced programme. All of which makes a compelling [show]case for the chromatic button accordion too.

Ever thought about adding Bach's Toccata & Fugue in D minor to your accordion repertoire? ;)
