Accordion Noir Radio

Howdy,
I'm having trouble streaming the Acordion Noir Radio Show [100.5 FM, Co-Op Radio in Vancouver Canada] to my computer. I get the first 2-3 minutes in a continous loop, and no show. I emailed the station without result, so, I'm wondering if it's because I use a Mac.
Any other AN fans out there experiencing problems?

Waldo,

I am in the UK using a laptop with Windows 10. Whenever I try and play any of the pre-recorded shows it shuts down after a minute or two and there's silence. It is played on my system with Adobe Flash, which I have to activate manually before playing.

Unfortunately, I don't know enough about audio/video streaming to put it into technical speak.

I've never used the site before, so don't know if the fault is recent or not.

Bruce here, co-host of Accordion Noir. Sorry if youre having trouble streaming the show. I know weve had some trouble with the streaming archives lately. This past week (May 2) the power went out on the whole block and the episode was ruined.

My co-host Rowan has been diligently reposting the episodes on my AccordionUprising.org site as well as on the Internet Archives, which might be more reliable than the stations stream? (Hes also reposting episodes from ten years ago.)

I found the show archives, but I don't see how to get past the most recent shows. What is the procedure to access the oldies?

The first six years or so of really old shows are at our www.AccordionNoir.org site, which locked us out of adding new material, but still provides links to those years.

My co-host Rowan has been posting newer episodes on the internet archives since Feb 2017 (and reposting weekly 2006- shows chronologically). The gap between those two sets of archives is currently in limbo, though we have copies of most of the shows.

We broadcast every Wednesday from 10-11 PM (Pacific Standard time) via terrestrial radio at Vancouvers Co-op Radio at 100.5 FM, which streams live online at http://www.coopradio.org/

The podcast mechanism that would forward shows for downloading automatically to peoples computers or players broke some years ago and hasnt worked since.

You can however access the latest episodes at: http://www.coopradio.org/station/archives/58

My co-host Rowan has also been uploading shows for the last year or so to the Internet Archive for preservation, and announcing the episodes with playlists on my http://www.accordionuprising.com/ blog.
You can sign near the bottom of the right-hand column to receive an email whenever a new blog post comes out (most often a new Accordion Noir episode lately). We also announce episodes on various social media.

Its not the EZ podcast of old, but its what weve got for now.
