No - I'm not selling - just giving information. Amazon is currently selling the Nomad Adjustable accordion stand at a very good price ($54.99). I just got mine yesterday - and I think it's pretty good. I'm using it for an accordion that I don't have a case for, so it doesn't sit on the floor. If you want one, this is the time to buy it, because I haven't seen it this cheap before.

Thank you. These days because of back pain I was just thinking about this option but then I saw very high prices and was having second thoughts. But now everything changes

I have one too - though I had to import it from the USA. It would be better just a tad higher, but it's a decent stand. I've been thinking to get a second one - either for my other accordion, or it works really well to put a guitar amp on.

I just checked the Amazon UK price - £102 😩

I ordered from amazon.com. It wasn't much difference in price then, but now you would get the cheaper offer - still going to be around the £90 mark.

Thanks for this! I've never thought about a stand before but I've noticed that I'm playing so much recently that I'm starting to get a case of tennis elbow. Picking up the accordion from the floor seems to exacerbate the issue. I'm wearing a compression sleeve on my left arm now and that helps tremendously. I've been trying to distribute all the weight to the right hand when picking the accordion up from the floor but that's not natural for me. A stand might be what I'm looking for.

and if you look at "amp stands" as well as accordion stands,
there are a lot of possibilities. Consider the difference in center-mass
as the tilt-back of some stands is perfect and others a bit much
or too little

personally, i also made small upholstered pads to permanently mount
across the bottom and back of mine which i feel makes it easier to
"hit the mark" without having to look too closely

I'm not a fan of most X-stands. I've seen and heard horror stories of keyboards crashing down. My Montage M8x weighs somewhere around 60 pounds and I have it on a massive K&M platform stand. Impractical for stage use but really nice for my home studio.

I think I'll take a look at some Amp stands as well that can support a lot more weight. All that potential energy with a $10K box seems a disaster waiting to happen!

i got my first 2 from Musicorp and they have double
legs and scissor hinges more like a ladder, with some
height adjustment from telescoping sections and threaded
stops for safety

more recently i grabbed a Gator with a single backbone,
but thick as a brick and pretty stable, but that one is naturally low
so no chance of tipping

with my pads, i can drop the accordion on it upright for quick
pickup (sometimes i'd sing without wearing it in band settings)
but between sets having the pads lets me set it down keys high
so it is lower and more stable cuz you never know when some
idiot cuts across your stage when you are on a break

Ah, I'm pleased so many found this post helpful. I also thank the mods for putting it in the right category - it was late at night when I posted, and I posted it in the wrong place. Happy shopping everyone - I will say, I'm very happy with my purchase of it!
