We have three groups - Beginners (a knowledge of the keyboard layout is essential): Improvers (those who have some understanding of the layout of the left hand and keyboard skills) and Intermediates. I was in the 1030 session (I'm at the lower end of the intermediate group ... I can't see my playing ever being described as 'advanced'!)
