My new Manfrini Artisan, 34/96, (with three more Bass couplers than I was expecting, woo-hoo)!

Looks real enough to me. Enjoy your extra couplers.

Oh I am sure, but its such a beautiful looking instrument, I was trying to entice a bit so that I could hear it! {} :D

It looks beautifully retro & classy with an aged look to the keys and buttons.
Congratulations, hope it brings you joy & fun for years to come. :ch

JerryPH, I will post a recording ... when I get around to working out how to making one that sounds half decent. Work in progress. Soulsaver, none of the colour options really grabbed me so I decided to go just for the classic look. My ropey photography has given it a bit more 'aging' than it has in reality though. Matt, it has so much more scope for subtlety than my Hohner Concerto, it is in another league. I just have to up my playing to justify it now! I spent quite a while listening to different musette tunings before selecting what I wanted and I am delighted with the sound. Glenn, now I need to get my head around having 14 register options instead of 2! Danger of option paralysis but that's a nice problem to have. I was happy to be able to use a local Scottish company; they make fine quality instruments (accordion body made to their spec in in Italy; reeds fitted and tuned here).

I've only heard very good things about Manfrinis. I hadn't realised the reed work was done in Scotland, it's great that it can be done that way.

Beautiful accordion! I like the retro looks on a lot of the instruments today. Very classy!
