I got an old accordion from my mother and I am looking for any information on it. The front badge says Ambro Sonic. There is a label on the back that Says manufactured by Brandoni & Sons Italy. I was not able to find any info about the Ambro Sonic line any help would be great, Thank you all!
Back when this was made it was common for retailers and music schools to commission any one of the numerous accordion builders in Italy to build them accordions with a “brand” name unique to the store or music school. I would guess this would be one such example. Looks 1955-1965 vintage and was probably a good student instrument when it was new.
