And now for somrthing completely different ...

Very nice! I know people who play all of those but not together - I love the unusual combination.

(I do suggest the camera operator/programmer consider cutting back a little on the caffeine - I was getting a touch of vertigo! :p)

I wonder what type of instrument he is playing diatonic or unisonic and what make. Fascinating track I am familiar with Tarantella as there is a big festival near where I have an apartment in Calabria. They sure can play those diatonics with ricochet etc I have a composition by Wolmer Belrami and Kramer is anyone familiar with it -I never learned it. sorry I have been out of action for the last few years I had a heart attack was in a coma for many months and spent 8 months in hospital.

Never seen Pixner play anything but a Styrian harmonica (diatonic with "Gleichton" and helicon bass reeds).

Bugga!
How is your rehabilitation going?
Somebody told me that operating accordion bellows helps to strengthen muscles in the thorax which have been adversely affected by the procedures used in open heart surgery, but I can't speak from experience.
Whatever, I hope that you are doing OK.

Sorry to hear that you've not been well, John, and sincere wishes for a continuing recovery:
All the best!🙂
Thanks Dingo for that because I was not revived for some time I have some Parkinssons synthoms like a tremour which prevents me from playing . Called a hypocsig brain injury. I got no pain warning just dropped - luckily my wife did cpr whilst ambulance arrived they had to zap me 3 times to get me back I recovery now .

"hypoxic" is just fancy doctor-talk for "low-oxygen".

Quite scary. Without your wife doing CPR there probably would not have been much worth zapping left. I know that after my stroke I was placing a lot more importance on retaining my musical skills than before, like working more on my violin skills in months than I did for decades before.

I hope you get to where you regain everything that is important to you and then some for good measure.

Wow. Once again I marvel and give thanks for medical professionals, the technology, medicines and advances in treatments, and the access to it all - most people in the world have no access, or if they do, can't afford it. I make a point to always thank the doctors & surgeons, nurses, med techs, assistants, and those who do the scheduling as well as the physical therapy staff. (The older I get the more of these people I meet!)
