Any info on this Scandalli accordion, please?

I have an 80 bass. I like its sound especially for Brazilian style. But not its weight.

It’s appears to have 3 treble reeds LMM. Depending on how wet it’s tuned that will likely make it versatile for playing different styles. It’s old enough that correctly assessing the condition is going to be critical. Just because the exterior looks brand new doesn’t mean it was stored properly all its life. Interior parts degrade over time and particularly if improperly stored turn a once decent musical instrument into an unusable noise generator. The repair costs to get neglected instruments back into playable condition can exceed the value after it’s fixed. In good condition these usually sound pretty good but were built for an amateur or intermediate players budget. It’s not a high end professional instrument, but could be a nice player.

Thank you. I'll have a good look at it on the weekend.

it is comparatively lighter than most comparable similar
italian accordions.. aluminum keybed.. individual key pivot system..
drop out bass section..

these are bold sounding in general and play nicely

what you want to do is hold it so the bass buttons face DOWN and
see if any slide out too far (degraded o-rings)
and test the treble keys for wobble, as the aluminum can be worn
down if it has a million miles on it

otherwise, if the leathers are good, you just got lucky

Thank you! Any idea of the model or series?

that one is probably a Silvana.. lots of those were made
with 2 or 3 reedset trebles.

that is the series the Chinese copied and cloned that they
still build look-alikes to this day
