AUSTRIAN ACCORDION PASSION!

Good question Dingo. I don't know, but I suspect Mr Paier does not consider it essential to have internal mics. I think one of the things about this accordion is that the designer has removed anything that is 'not essential' for his music. For example, he has 41 keys but chose only 96 bass buttons. Also he has a single 'voice' of free bass rather than 2 or more. If I understood correctly it is a quint converter, but with the low note of A1 rather than C2, which is unusual but probably quite good for his choice of music. There is a lot more detail on the website. It mentions that there are very carefully selected woods too, such as Bavarian spruce etc. Less than 10kg for a double cassotto, free bass accordion is very light. The website has a pricing so he plans to sell this model, but seemingly it is a limited production of a maximum of 30 instruments.

The answer to that is all in one phrase... he made the perfect accordion... for himself.
I think that he may find that as good as that accordion really is, that its going to be a hard sell based on some of his choices.
