Lovely...great that's not overcooked too as so often is the case with this tune. .super arrangement

Nice work. The one thing I don't understand is why this was recorded with a TV or radio still playing in the background...
My all-time favorite arrangement of this is that by Viktor Novikov, as played by Alexander Skliarov:

It's that time of year here in New England

Great hearing you as usual George, thanks!!!! I've got so many of the d*mn things it makes it hard to sit and play my accordion. It is cool to stand outside in the evening and listen to them fall though. How could you get that sound into a song....Hmm.....20221030_094744.jpg

Hi,
I am attaching my own attempt from January 2018: it is based on the French original "Les Feuilles mortes". Please look at this link.

Best regards, Vladimir

Thanks! Yeah, I have since recorded without the TV going. But, I have always tried to come across as a live performance as a guy playing accordion in his living room rather than a studio type performance. I have always been a fan of the Art Van Damme quintet since I started playing accordion in the 1950's. There is a recording of this song by AVD on Spotify. https://open.spotify.com/

Tom,
I used to gather up the autumn leaves and dispose of them via my green bin. Now, I just use my mulching mower and mulch them in situ.
Two or three mows and...all gone!
(Good for the soil tooπŸ™‚)
No hassles!πŸ™‚πŸ‘

New England is, to me, the world capital of the Fall. It is great to hear Autumn Leaves played from New England! πŸπŸ‚

Thanks(y)

Yup, works pretty good but tough on the mower when they get so thick. A lot easier than raking though!
