Can anyone recommend any CDs with backing tracks of popular accordion songs that you can play along with?
i.e. with just the drum rythmns of the songs.
Sorry if this has been covered before!

I’m not sure how what you’re looking for isn’t just a 32 bar drum loop with a fill at the turnaround. 😉

There is software available called iReal which provides backing. I got it a few years ago, cost about $20.
It has lots of different rhythms, and can be tailored to suit whatever you're playing.

I am one of those that don’t like pre-made backing tracks Unless they are ones that I made myself. The ones that I tried in the past excited me about as much as following a bare metronome. That said if this was the only solution, they could be made to work, but the players bends to the backtrack, not the backing following the player.

Very true Jerry, specially it you're playing rubato - these types of backing tracks keep the tempo rigid.
However, I found it useful when learning a new rhythm (bolero).
