Bonvicini fake piano keyboard

No, this isn't my accordion: I just noticed it on eBay.

I've seen CBAs with the buttons hidden below a piano keyboard before. But on this one you can clearly see that the black keys of the "piano" keyboard are a fourth row of buttons, with added white keys between the gaps in the black keys.

There are two sliding register switches below the keyboard shown in a different photo.

I live near Denver, which is where Bonvicini was rather proudly based (as you can see from the grille); so they show up from time to time for sale locally. Monarch is the only Denver accordion badge that survives today.

well BonV certainly were a brave and bold bunch..
before and after WW2

i mostly remember their brand from the huge, blower
powered MoP Pedestal accordions seen in the 60's
 
I love finto piano accordions! I have two I restored over the years. Absolutely intriguing part of accordion history. This one is B-griff! I would be the target audience to buy this one, if I hadn’t gotten laid off. The ones I have don’t have the white accidental keys. Leon Sash, Alice Hall, and others played similar instruments. Thanks for sharing.
