Lookin good, Mike!

Thanks, Paul! :)
I should have noticed the couplers :P.
Are those made by Zero Sette the ones with the oversized "G" logos?

It is a model N4 bought when I was around 12 if I remember correctly, so 1966 or so by generous parents for me.  Yes it is a converter type free bass.   I also bought a used Giulietti Continental with the three extra rows, it has the treble cleff logo, so a different manufacturer I think.   I do not like the left hand on that one for two reasons.  Do no like the voicing of the reeds.   Quite different than the one I grew up on.   Two, I have trouble playing the bassetti left hand way up high like they are arranged, also difficult to reach the switches to change voicing while you are playing.

The right hand has a very nice sound though.   Guess I will need to record a few songs with it, just to show the differences.

Still loading more songs.   I live in a rural area so SLOW connections and large file sizes.   Listen to Two Guitars and Girl from Ipanema if you get a chance.

I still need to learn to SLOW DOWN....even when I think I have I still play too fast.   I did not post some songs because when I listened they were just too fast.   Bad habit.

Mike,
Very nice instrument! :)

Constructed at what was probably the conjunction of peak materials and peak craftsmanship and,  :) to prove it, still in excellent working order! :)

How many of today's electronic marvels will still be operational in 2074? :P

I enjoyed your posts of "Two Guitars " and "The Girl from Ipanema ".

Both very nice, thanks! :)

I wish it was in excellent condition.   I have spent about $600 on repairs over the last couple years when I started playing again.  hard to find someone to work on accordions in Central VA.   I did find one person and have brought it there twice but I still have three reeds that are not right.   Spent $300 last time supposedly getting them repaired but it did not work.   Also need new bass strap and new bellows gasket.....oh well, we are all getting older and needing repairs.   As for electronics....not sure.   I just sold a 30 year old Technics digital piano because I was no longer using it since I bought my Yamaha MOXF8 and it had no issues at all with it.   Have some 20 year old Roland studio monitors....just starting to give me problems, noise periodically on one channel.   Also an old but second hand PA system that seems to be working fine.   Electronics can last pretty long.   I do not think they hold their value as well though.   Newer, better and especially in the case of the Piano and PA....lighter....systems come out.   Still need to get a new amp.   Have a Roland KC 550 as well as the PA, good thing I am in good shape or I could never haul them up and down the stairs.   Love the Roland but it is a monster to carry around....Wheels are actually more of a pain than a help.

Mike ,
It's true, finding any repairman for acoustic free reed instruments anywhere is almost impossible nowadays   :(
It's like they say, use it before you lose it, make the most of it while you can!  :)

Yes...I do have an issue.   Even when I think I am playing slower when I go back and listen I played too darn fast.   ugh!

On the keyboards I often use what they call a performance so I can set a drumbeat and a speed, forces me to stay slower.   I sometimes use the metronome on the accordion but obviously not often enough.   Working on it.

So I spent a day recording a bunch of songs....probably too many.    Some likely need to be cleaned up and re-recorded, actually have not been playing accordion much lately, spending more time on my keyboard.   Anyway there are a bunch of songs on my YouTube Channel if anyone  is interested.
