I play accordion music from score (novice) but want clarification ..If 2 flats or 2 sharps in a section and one of them has a cancel sign (ordinary flat or sharp) to play do I play both cancel or one of them ordinary??

You would cancel only the one indicated, and only for the duration of the measure
