Hi 😃

I'm trying to learn the G major pentatonic scale on my CBA ( C system, french), and struggle with my fingers. I miss a sixth one 😉.

Here is the scale and my fingering so far :

G A B D E
2 3 2 3 p 2

But p (thumb) on the second row seems strange...

Fingers noted p 1 2 3 4.

Please help 😃

Thank you
Laurence

Play the A on the fourth row not the first.....

Thanks a lot for your quick reply !

Pb is I only got 3 rows...

Will the use of the thumb on the second row bring problems later on ?

If I start with 1 on G and finish with 4 on G, do you have a way to mount two scales though ?

Have a nice day
Laurence

I like this two octave fingering because middle three fingers are anchored on a major triad and index finger is available to add b-flat for a blues scale.

But maybe it has some disadvantage
