Been here for ages!
I like reading before going to bed.
I particularly like reading many of the older books being given away for free at the local "bookshed" because, presumably, no one would spend anything on them as being of little interest or value, being passé?
Yet, I have found some of the most fascinating books to be in this very assortment.
Recently, I came across an older, illustrated hardback copy of Charlie Chapllin's Autobiography.
Simply fascinating!
The man made good in spite of a very unpromising hand dealt to him by fortune.
Another such interesting find was Benvenuto Celini's autobiography " My life" more enthralling than a James Bond movie!
Should you find either, by all means read them!
