Do you make your own music with the accordion?

I love making new tunes and the accordion has definitely helped me get better at composing. Unfortunately, I don't spend as much time on this as I'd like to. Feel free to share any songs that you're written for the accordion.

These are the one's I've made so far.

1) 3 Ounces of Joy (A tour of Hawaii)
This is the most recent one. I usually make tunes that are melancholic and dark. I wanted to make something that is positive with happy vibes. We visited Maui in 2022. I sho some random clips of beaches and waterfalls during that trip. They came in handy for this song. The entire song was recorded using my Bugari Evo digital accordion. Mostly used accordion voices for the melodies.

2) My Old Man
This is a song that is very close to my heart. It started out as a simple tune that I was humming when I was driving (at the beginning of the pandemic quarantine). This is the first time that I wrote some lyrics for the song. Sergei Teleshev helped me record the tracks and I also sang. I wanted to sing this myself because I wrote this in memory of my dad (and also because I like singing). I'm not a great singer though. Sergei also filmed some shots using his drone for this and produced the video and audio. I used my Solloni (dolphin) accordion for this.

This is a video of me performing the song with Bruce Wittrig (from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra) at Henry Cowell Redwood State park. Bruce was kind enough to play the violin tracks for the song (which were his own additions to the main melody I wrote). His violin adds so much to the song. Performed on Petosa Artista Pro xt.

3) A heart full of life
When I started working on this one, I didn't have any ideas. I just wanted to make a song that day. I was actually pleased with the tune. The music production has a lot of scope for improvement though. This was performed on the Solloni (dolphin) accordion. I also played some flute for this.

4) The last dance
The last dance is very different from what I usually do with more orchestration that the other songs. It the only song that feels close to a real song. Everything you hear in this song came out of Bugari Evo digital accordion. I'm very happy with the overall quality of the sound. IMO this is doesn't sound like a cheap casio in any way.

5) Black Water
Another Example of a day that started with no pre-existing ideas. I came back from the beach and had some footage of gloomy skies and a hostile ocean. Just wanted to make a song out of it. The tune doesn't start out as dark as I wanted it to be. I tried to add a darker turn as the song progresses so that it could match the visuals. Performed on Petosa Artista Pro xt.

6) Color Me You
A simple melody. I did add some counterpoints for this one. Performed on my Bugari Evo digital accordion.

7) Chasing Butterflies
The first song I wrote for the accordion. I used to play this when I busk out. But I haven't played this one in ages. My friend Melanie wrote some lyrics for this and sang this.

I’ve written two tunes, both on the accordion. One is so bad I never play it! The other I played at my event today and no one threw tomatoes. I would like to do more.
