This is just fantastic. This is a prime example of somebody who "gets it" musically. I'd personally rather listen to this than Flight of the Bumblebee played flawlessly at double-speed, and there are plenty examples of that on YouTube from 14 year-old prodigies. Both have their place, but the sheer musicality of this playing is what sets it apart.
I tend to add too much to most of my playing, in part because I get bored. When I hear recordings somebody took and sent me I shudder and think "why the heck did I add so many notes?"
I learn a lot from your videos and appreciate you posting them Piotr.
Not a big fan of these performances of jazz songs with a non-accordion backing track, even though the performance itself is really well done.
I prefer the old recordings Piotr made with his Victoria. But it all comes down to personal preference.
