I rarely post about what I recorded, because more often than not my play is nothing to write home about. But there is one show piece that is played very often by accordionists as a solo piece: the Czardas by Monti, that I now arranged for accordion orchestra and then made a recording of (playing all parts myself). This was at least as difficult to mix on the computer than to study and play all the parts.
I posted it on YouTube at  (where you find more recent recordings like Vivaldis Concerto RV 522 (first movement), Espana Cani and some more).
My hope is of course that some real accordion orchestras will play these arrangements, but I realize they are not the easiest pieces...
Enjoy!

Bravo, delightful rendition of one of my favorite accordion party pieces!

"try to keep keys silent" !!!

That's what is written in the arrangement, but it is hard to do when you play very high notes in the H register and are using a Russian bayan (with generally rather loud keys). At least with the reminder I'm hoping that people will put in some effort. (I did but you can still hear the keys quite loudly...)

Lovely, I've always liked this piece, it is one of those standards where the musician has such freedom with, as Paul so well displayed.

Paul - That was great. I really enjoyed it!

Heres my humble version. Arrangement was done by the late Charles Nunzio:

Very well played! Nice accordion too.

Thank you, Paul. That was my old Beltuna. It had a very slight musette tuning.

What can I say?  Masterful!!! And most enjoyable! :)
Was the “Olive Blossoms” in any way a reference to Pietro Frosini (that being the title of one of his pieces)?

Paul,
Most impressive!!!
It’s like what they said about Ginger Rogers dancing: she did all that Fred Astaire did, only backwards and in high heels! :)
Thank you!

Olive Blossoms is the name of my first album, as that was the title track. It was the first Frosini piece that I learned.
