Delicia Accordion Montage...

They sound cool too. Pretty close to the blade with hands on that table saw. Be careful!

Nice video showing the production process. Two things are pretty clear to me:
- They produce quite a number of parts themselves for which Italian manufacturers use parts sourced from elsewhere (like keyboard mechanics).
- The reed blocks do not appear to be made from carefully selected different woods to result in reed blocks that resist warping (and may provide a nicer sound).

Do some Delicias have plastic reed blocks and/or plastic bass mechanisms like Weltmeister's compact/folk models?

Resistance to warping is determined by wood type, selection and how everything is glued/laminated. There's easily a 20% variance within each wood type, so if they have easy access to good quality spruce or beech, it's unlikely to be any more susceptible to warping compared to a limited access to, say, mahogany, and are likely much better than, say, questionably sourced sapele that will get sold as "mahogany" down the line.

So I wouldn't jump to conclusions.

However, when I go to their website and try looking at their product range, I get a "page not found" error for all of them on their english language site version. That's more of a concern than the wood in the video

I didn’t notice until it was mentioned because I was on the Czech part of the site. Speaking generally, they’re not top tier accordions, but when looking at their Choral series, they look to be basic solid performers. No free bass anywhere that I could find, but A Mano reed choices were available, and they do offer custom work.

Also, I don’t know about their wood choices, but I have tentative plans to be in Prague later this year, I may have to take a look personally, it’s only 50km from where I hope to be in Prague.

"Glued/laminated" being important. Fewer pieces mean fewer opportunities for different fiber directions to compensate. Even if you work with a single material, working with several different pieces milled in different suitable orientations can make quite a difference with regard to longterm stability. Once you do work with several different pieces, substituting denser or more rigid material for structurally important pieces (like the base in contact with the base plate) is not a significant driver of cost. If you want smooth reed chamber walls, it helps not having them milled perpendicular to the fiber direction. And so on. If you make the whole reed block from dense, warp-proof material, you have large costs and large weight.
