This forum has been a great help on all things accordion. I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations on sites related to Midi, Digital Keyboards/workstations/ layering, sequencing, etc. I am way behind on the technology side and welcome any site that could help me learn. I have been looking at digital keyboards at local music stores but the choices, especially online, are over whelming. Played and like the Roland RD2000 but seen reviews on many others that seem to be interesting also. Before shelling out money, I need to learn more. Bonner's music appears to do some nice reviews on Youtube. I wish I had local sales people who were as knowledgeable. I go into Sam Ash or Guitar Center and they do not appear to know much more than how to turn it on.

I deal with Sweetwater Music. They have the support help and always available to speak to. I like the 2 - 3 year extended warranty.
Yamaha, Korg and Roland keyboards is all I have purchased. They each have there unique sampled sounds in my opinion.
With age of computers and IPads, maybe purchase a good midi keyboard controller(under $500). Make use of the many apps available.

Have a pleasant journey!

Thanks....reading over some of it. If I go the computer apps route, it is another choice trying to figure out what software to use, plus must need some interfaces for the ins and outs.

Mike, you mentioned quite a few large topics. As you know, there is a sea of info out there. You can be easily drowned in it. If you narrow it down to exactly what you are trying to accomplish, maybe it will be easier for others to share with you what they know.

Finding APP/keyboard/keyboard controller a big problem.. As Torch said you need to decide on what you are trying to accomplish. Then maybe we can further assist.

Interface, no problem. Look at these wireless options. Have both, they work great. Just make sure your app has
MIDI BLUETOOTH LE feature.

This option if you want wired connection. But I found this most unreliable with iPad camera kit.
