I have a Roland Fr-4x and using a Ketron Midjpro sound module. I am downsizing my play location to a regular size bedroom. I would like to replace my large 15" speaker amp. Will a Studio monitor system such as the KRK series be sufficient to carry the frequency range clearly? Any recommendation?
Thank you.

I have monitors with 8 and 4.5" woofers, both 2-way, and the smaller ones do the job nicely, but I'm playing 2 metres away from them.

Most general purpose monitors nowadays are bass heavy though. Depends on your taste. Not a bad thing for the Roland's perse.

The 3-way KRK's would be a dream to play over.

Thank you very much for your time to reply. And I also will play close to my speaker as you suggested. I would hope to use my Roland internal speakers and if that is tge case, then the amp/speakers only for the Ketron Midjpro. Therefore, I would only need the one channel as the limit by the monitors. The Ketron has both left and right out ports. My guess that playing this close would not benefit from investing in two speakers. Would you agree?
Thank you again.

you might consider in wall speakers

walls are excellent baffle chambers ... connections can be wired through electrical
sized boxes with jack faceplates

add an amp with Bluetooth and use it for everything else too
