Eddie Shuler introduced Nathan to Virgil Bozman, who had started the O.T. label. On May 23, 1949, Bozman convinced the Nathan and Earl Demarys Musical Aces group to record “Pine Grove Blues” and “Kaplan Waltz” (#102).
