Excelsior 940C - Free bass model

Is this Excelsior 940C custom built?

I dont know Excelsior models that well, but I couldnt find any other reference to this model online. I guess with the 8 extra bass buttons this has a 4 row free bass with 66 (22x3) notes?

I have seen one like this in real life in use by a fellow conservatory student here in Canada many moons ago. So, if there were at least 2, I would tend to think it more of a regular but rare model over a custom built unit.
