Anyone have the definitive FR-7 pinout for that goof ball military connector (the 19 pin thing). I know it's got at least midi in, midi out, and power on it somewhere...

Don't know about power (I can't find my notes). But if you want just MIDI pinout, this thread has it.

Edit to add: I wouldn’t mess with power supply through the 19-pin connector. I added a 24V input to my FR-7b via the connector in the battery compartment. It’s much simpler and less risky.

The ???'s here are of the wiring for power& midi using the PT06A-14-19 plug.
PT06A-14-19 plugs are made by Anphenol & Bendix (same plug) and used on the
Roland models FR-5, FR-5b, FR-7, & FR7b. New these plugs go for $35 USD but
at times they pop up on Ebay for as low as $15 USD. The pins on a PT06A-14-19
have letters to designate them -- you might need a magnifying glass to see them.

Now for power - connect 24 volt positive to pin letter (D) and 24 volt negative to
letter (C).

Now for midi out - First the midi plug is a 5 pin DIN and the pins have numbers.
On the PT06 plug connect pin letter (R) to midi pin #2, - connect pin letter {P} to
midi pin #4, - connect pin letter (N) to pin #5 .

Those are letters on that connector? I thought those were numbers! Thank you Jim!
