Why thanks Pippa.
It's been a bank holiday here in Holland so I've been spending too long with my new (30 year old Hohner) CBA.
Now I've got the hang of my first tune but it's going to be a long haul with the CBA as the keyboard logic is not hard wired in my brain like the PA.
How are you finding it? I've been watching CBA videos on youtube and they seem to navigate it with so much ease, even compared to the great PA-ists. I'm beginning to think I might like one.......
I know I'm late as usual, But Happy belated Birthday Glenn!!!
Thanks for all your great posts, especially telling us of your journey into CBA land. I am determined to get one as soon as a likely candidate appears. I'm keeping my eyes peeled locally.
I fear the CBA is causing me to loose neurons quite fast but by my calculation I should have enough to see me to the end.
It is rather interesting to play the PA then pick up the CBA and feel like a beginner again.
I am starting back from my first PA teaching books and using the tunes to learn the CBA.
I'm making up my own fingering and trying to get one tune a day under control.
Unfortunately as I start the second the first starts slipping away but that's a part of the game I guess.
