Hi all.
I'm trained in flute and the double bass but from the very start my desire was to learn to play the accordion. Sadly the opportunity was never there.
Long story short, once on my own I picked up a second hand accordion which turned out needing lots of work. Eventually I wound up here, and thanks to all the bountiful and diverse input I was able to revive the accordion.
Despite still "not knowing how to play", I love noodling and now own 5 accordions brought back from near-death. Again, thanks to the contributions of the members here.
Anyway, I ramble. I'm very much excited to officially be a part of the community.
