Hello everyone , unknown accordion name.

Can anyone identify this accordion? It was purchased in 1955 for $1000.00 , was told maybe an Imperial? No name anywhere . But there is a number on the back here are a few pictures .

Probably ordered from a factory in Italy for sale in an American accordion shop. The maker may not be possible to find, but it doesn't matter that much. What matters is what condition it's in, and how playable it is.

Looks like a full sized accordion with a decent combination of reeds (though your pictures are way too fuzzy to tell).
 
It certainly looks similar to “Imperial” branded instruments. Most Italian builders were happy to build to any specification requested, so even instruments very similar on the outside may not share same the same grade of reed or feature set on the inside.

I agree this looks like a full size instrument with at least 4/5 reed sets. If it were mine, I would want to identify what grade the reeds are and if it has any reed sets in cassotto. Of course condition can be a major issue on instruments of this age.
