Greetings everyone. I don't play the accordion, but I do enjoy listening to it and learning abouts its role in various cultures. I joined because I'm hoping someone might be able to offer some info or direction as to where to find info about an old accordion that has been in my family. I'll post my questions and photos in the Makes and Models forum
Thanks
Jim

Welcome Jim!!! I second those who recommend learning to play it. Hit me up and I will offer you a free zoom lesson on how to play it, no problem. Unless you live nearby in which case the lesson could be in person and I’ll throw a couple more cordeens in your trunk when you leave……. (Sorry, inside joke 🤣).

Thanks for the welcome Tom. It brought a smile to my face as I think I got your inside joke. it reminded me of my grandfather calling it a “cordeen”. Do we share a similar heritage?

You’re welcome Jim! I think the term reflects the German heritage of Wisconsin. But I also lived in PA for a while. Beautiful state.
