Recently, there's been a lively discussion (on these forums) regarding the correct spelling of Dallapè ( or should it be Dallapé?
).Both versions were stoutly defended, with supporting photographic and linguistic evidence provided.
It would appear that Dallapè carried the day by a whisker.
What was clearly proved, however, is not even bearers of the Dallap(?) name agree on what the correct spelling is!
Another case of you say "tomayto", I say "tomahto" ?
