Any help is appreciated. I have read a good bit of information here on your site and am learning a great deal.

I have played guitar and some piano for over 20 years, have a musical background and recently acquired an accordion. I feel the instrument is better off with someone who will enjoy it and really knows how to play it!

The make appears to be Dallape, however the model is marked as Vogve. I've been unable to find much clarification online. Also, the four keys above the piano keys seem to be of a different style than others seen.

Thank you in advance for any help and input.

This is a real old one maybe from the late 30`s. If I was interested in this accordion I`d have to assume that it needs new reed wax , valves , and maybe all new pallet leather (noisey keys) . Judging by the voice shifters it doesn`t appear to have more than 2 treble voices . This one needs to be snagged cheap. Just cause it`s a Dallape doesn`t mean it ages better than the rest. I don`t like the square edge on the keys either.

Yes a late 30's early 40's - looks in good shape for it's age but, in most cases will need some work. This one should be a 4 reed treble & 5 reed bass. What looks like shifts on the grill are really toggles (sometimes called rockers) that open & close the 4 sets of treble reeds. A nice collector's item.

Thank you to all for the information. Is there any reasoning or date coding to the serial numbers at this time period that you know of?
