I got my Grandpa's old accordion, but no clue age/model/condition/value. I would appreciate any help to figure this out. I'll be trying to find it a new home, but want to try to have good information first since I know nothing about accordions.

it looks half decent

it is from the 1950's

it is a by God Paolo Soprani from the good old days and it's Red

it was used professionally at one time, as it had a backpad
and microphones added to it, so it was probably a decent model
with good reeds

it was not abused, and was likely reasonably well maintained during the years
Gramps made money with it

while it may have some life left, it will likely need a bit of work to make it
reliable again, but it might not last very much longer as the materials age and fatigue,
and especially if a key breaks or cracks, as this type of key is not really repairable

it could go at auction between $500 to $1000, but someone knowledgeable
would have to first hands on evaluate it and figure out the specs to be published
in a for sale listing.. the (critically important) internal specs are not readily discernable
from photo's of the exterior
