Hogmanay Jig Set
These are all tunes composed by the late Andrew Rankine, a very successful Scottish accordionist with a distinctive playing and arranging style. His arranging set a pattern for later dance bands. He’s probably best known for his tune ‘Donald Iain Rankine’ and his final playing job was at Long Beach, California on the ship ‘Queen Mary’ as resident musician.

Very classy with a nice light touch. What are the other tunes?
I have the "Memories of Andrew Rankine" CD, must listen again.
Cheers
Tom

Thanks Tom. I've reached a stage where I'm trying to hang on to any little talent I may have had and try to have a daily practice.
The other tunes, in order are, The Corner House Jig, Edmund MacKenzie of Plockton and The Weaver and His Wife.
