Hohner 48 new reeds dry-ished tuning,pro tuner required UK

Hi a mate has been borrowing my old Hohner 48 bass.I dry-ish tuned it (Saltarelle on this chart)to be honest the reeds needed quite a bit of cleaning and it was just to get an idea of how a Hohner might sound dryer tuned.

He absolutely loves the box sound and the lightweight and would like it, so can anybody recommend a professional in the UK that can fit /tune a complete new set of reeds and some idea of the cost please

I’ve used Gordon Patullo for various repairs/ tuning and found him to be first rate. If you google his name it should bring up his website.
 
Seconding the recommendation for Gordon Pattullo. We took my accordion to him a couple of times, but live nearby, so for us it was just a short drive. He also receives things sent from a much longer distance. Very proficient tuner and accordion repairer, and a top bloke to deal with. Here is his website: http://www.gordonpattullo.co.uk/

Hi Jibbern thanks will give him the details ..................... I bought it really as the bellows are in excellent condition ,he is a good mate and you know that as you usually end up drunk or out of pocket :LOL:
