I am new to the site and the accordion 3 years in, I have a Hohner Verdi CB 120 base. The base selectors seem to not be working correctly, they do not seem to be making a definite (click ) switch.

When treble is selected the treble base sound is as it was before.
The mid selectors seems more treble than it used to be.
The low base when selected seems more quite than it used to be.

Can any body suggest any simple solutions. I have no technical knowledge of the accordion. But am generally good practically to a point.

I live in Manchester England My local accordion shop closed this year. if any body knows a local repair service in this area I would be grateful.

You might try Murray Grainger from "the Reed Lounge" (in Derbyshire, not far from Yorkshire).

Thanks that is very helpful, I will look him up. I have static caravan in Derbyshire so will be heading that way this month.

To continue from the above
I have used Roy in the past and always been pleased with the results.

Just for completeness, visited Roy at accordion magic. Great guy analysed the fault and fixed it. Also took time out to educate me on the accordion in general. Have me advice for future accordion purchases.
