Hi everyone.

Been reading many threads and figured this is the place to ask.

I inherited an accordion from my late grandpa. I know it's old as I remember him playing it when I was a kid (45+ years ago).

I have tinkered with it and know it plays but having read many posts I now understand there are many variables under the hood that a layperson like me have no idea about.

So, I guess I want to know what model this is and if there is any place in the Houston area to have it checked out for possible service or sale.

Also, any other info/details would be great.

It's a student Scandalli. It's small for an adult, but has loud but cheap reeds. Soon after I started busking, I used one and found it equal to the job, but the keybaoard is kid-sized.
I'm now too sophisticated to play one like it.

A teacher probably sold it. Accordion schools were big business until Elvis, as everyone here is aware. Since then we have Global warming and other problems.

Yeah and the same people who burned Elvis’ records don’t believe in global warming. Just saying……

And when those blue snowflakes start falling
That's when those blue memories start calling
You'll be doing all right
With your Christmas of white
But I'll have a blue, blue, blue, blue Christmas
