Hi
I am new to the forums but not new to accordions. I have been playing for 45 years! I am a self-taught accordionsist and music reader. I am an experienced ceilidh (barn dance) accordionist but enjoy all genres of music. I have 3 accoustic accordions plus a Roland V FR7 and a Roland V FR8X.
I am interested in teaching the accordion and have volunteered to teach somebody free of charge as a trial but no takers yet.

Welcome - yet more invaluable experience!
Nice to see another member who can talk with authority about acoustics AND V-accordions.

Hi Annie, welcome! You might find some takers around here - where are you based?

Hi Annie I thought I already posted a welcome - but it must have been lost in cyber space.. and it said what Pippa said, almost verbatim...
Anyway, ftaod, WELCOME! :)

Hi Annie; You are of course welcome, you will find this forum is ( in my opinion ) the most informative, lively and entertaining accordionist site on both sides of the pond. If your located in the USA please let us know. I've been playing for 60 years now and repairing for 40 years. You did mention your FR-7 and FR-8x but could you tell us what you have for acoustic accordions - Button or PA's ??? Musically Yours; JIM D.

Hi Annie: I also have a Roland FR-8x and previously a 7 and a 7x. IF you ever want to talk about the Rolands, let me know. We can do it via the Digital and MIDI Accordion part of the Forum or via pm..... Jim
