It's blueberry time in TN again

The blueberries are getting ripe here, along with the red and black raspberries and blackberries.

From one bush I picked about two quarts just now after supper, far more than could fit in this 4-cup measuring/mixing bowl. More every day.

Blueberry cobbler, blueberry crisp, muffins, bars, some will go into the freezer for winter... Peaches, apples and pears are not far behind. Cherries are done for the year. Figs are just starting to form.

It's a terrible burden but someone has to bear it.

You didn't mention fresh blueberries on pancakes!

We don't grow blueberries, I'm not sure anyone does in the UK. But our blackcurrants and strawberries are ready to harvest now. Apples and plums maybe another 3-4 weeks yet.
 
Beautiful! Still a couple weeks out for blueberry and raspberry here but wild strawberries for a couple of weeks. Regular strawberries just starting.
