Does anyone know how and when accordionists started using "jazz"chords in musette?

Its really hard to answer these kind of questions haha, for example I know that extended chords were used in Choro music in Brazil 150 years ago, and then again more extended chords were used in Bossa Nova in 50s, as Joao Gilberto was influenced by contemporary jazz...

Good question Ganza....and while here does anyone have charts for said chords... I play CBA and whilst it's relatively easy to work out extensions and omissions on guitar I struggle to get the coolest of voicings on accordion
Any help/knowledge gratefully received
Manyu thanks

No idea when, but I found a little youtube video that showed how to do 7 jazz chord variations. To use them on the accordion with stradella bass is going to take some imagination and experimentation. If you use free bass by chance, its basically the same as you see in the video. Just to offer a few ideas. :)
