We're having a little contest, running until the end of March. Please feel free to enter - see the thread in the "I Did That" section of the forum. Don't be shy, have a go!
Nice music , easy on both the ear and the eye....and very versatile...watch the lady with the accordion , harmonica and glockenspiel(?) in the first video
Am I right, they seem to trade instruments around a lot? And did it seem to anyone else the accordion is no ones favorite? The notable instrument there is that contrabass balalaika. As far as I know they have no practical virtues to recommend them, and awfully impractical to tour with, but looks kind of spectacular.
Some instrumental virtuosity, from Russian Bis-Quit Orchestra playing an American jazz tune in a Brazilian influenced style on Russian traditional instruments. (Plus accordion, saxophone, drum set.)
Donn, I believe that they play 16 instruments between them. Those I have remember seeing are Drums,. guitar, Balalaika, Bass Balalaika,Accordion, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, piano/keyboard, glockenspiel(or whatever it is), trumpet (or cornet?),harmonica/mouth organ.
