...and it was all down hill therafter.
I'm old I know, but the joyfullness of the Trad/Dixie style with the sponteneous improvisation gradually morphed into more 'intellecual' and 'serious' formal presentations in the recording and large audience arenas.
Fortunately, there are still many of lesser fame who still play to smaller audiences on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings, it seems.
