Hello everyone, a friend made these letters for me on a 3D printer, the original letters were missing an "E" I contacted the Excelsior factory and they told me that since it is an old accordion they no longer have spare parts in the warehouse , then this home test. First I only added the missing "E" but the color difference is a bit noticeable so then I tried them all. There is nothing definitive yet, I have in mind to try painting them with chrome plastic spray but I still make it worse, I don't know... has anyone done this before? What would be the right glue to avoid damaging the celluloid once you decide to glue them? What would you do? Would you just leave the "E" or would you change all of them? Any opinion and advice are welcome!! I put some photos below. By the way, does anyone know the year of manufacture of this model? thank you!!!

the print job looks good !

for changing the color or tone of an entire printed set
aside from paint, there is a product found in hobby shops
that allows you to "rub" on a metallic tone finish

i do not know if it would work on plastic, but it might be
worth a try. i believe it is used typically on metal where the surface
plating has been somewhat worn off, and this method
is more like a cosmetic fix, but it stays put better than blush !

Muchas gracias, ¿sabes cómo se llama ese producto o marca? Es una solución interesante para probar.
