Hello all,
New to this site and looking for help with a frontalini accordion. I just inherited it and want to get an idea of a value to post on eBay for it. Any help?

Hello and welcome.

I'd start with $10 and see how high it goes. Better just post it in local ads and see if any locals want it for free. Get some positive karma.

I'd go $100+!🙂
The box (i.e. carry case) by itself is worth $40+!🙂
Are all keys and buttons sounding on both push and pull?🤔

$100-$200 - is that before or after you pay $500 to get it overhauled into a playable condition?
Given it's age.

well itty bitty dime a dozen student 12 bass accordions,
as far as i have been concerned, are $50 bucks period
and i would only buy one if i didn't have one on the
shelf ready to give away.. most of them i did give away
to assist and give wings to some kids interest or ambition..

the occasional someone looking to buy one then fine,
if it only cost me 50 and a bit of fixing up (they are simple)
then i would sell one for $100 (at most)

the stupid pet trick people and those that fall for the suggestion
they can be useful beyond the distance they can be tossed
and the thump they make when landing receive no shrift from me

Dingo is right, often the damn case is worth more than a 12 bass box

learning a few rudimentary things, a few songs in C F or G,
finding out if up and down makes sense to ones fingers..
that's about it.. 12 to 16 weeks then you need to put a real,
actually useful accordion with potential into their hands

Thank you, everything does seem to be working.
Please do not take my comment as anything negative, but 99% of the people will say "it seems to be working" or "works perfect;y" and are not aware that 99% of an accordion's value is not what it looks like on the outside, but what it looks like inside. Dried out wax, curled valves, mold, dust, bad tune, etc... in any combination of any 2 that I mention above can easily add $500 or more to it's repair bill if done by a competant accordion repair person. :)

No worries. I will probably donate to the assisted living facility that my daughter works at. They have a music program that they bring in an outside person with instruments for something to do. I think this will be perfect for this situation.
Thank you for your input.
