@Random Johnny does the book you recommended have Hanon/Czerny exercises? Seems more like a collection of etudes but I can’t be sure. Just curious!
Russian or Ukrainian books may be a better bet when searching for B-system resources. I believe Hanon rendered in Cyrillic is “Шарль Луи Ганон” (I do not speak Russian or Ukrainian, apologies if I got that wrong). If I find anything in my searches I’ll share here.
Yes, the’re all etudes but they are little gems, beautiful little compositions with difficulty levels for beginners, intermediate and advanced players. It’s a thorough method book. Also with standard and free bass accompaniment lines.
For fingering of scales (major, minor, harmonic, melodic), thirds and sixths, it is useful to use a good book for 5 rows bayan, e.g.
Modern school of Button accordion playing, 2014 by V. Semenov. (Explanations in russian only.) amazon.com/accordion-playing-Semenov-explanations-Russian/dp/0706380398
For further exercises, the Chord Studies (for saxophone) by Joseph Viola may be interesting: amazon.com/Joseph-Viola-Technique-Saxophone/dp/B008UYRR4K
This book has been very helpful in learning both the mandolin and accordion.
Unfortunately, you have to figure out the fingering by yourself.
