Sorry, yet another trip to the land of Gauloises and red wine, but Im trying to vary it as much as I can.
I first heard this sort of stuff being played way back in the 50s on Radio Lyon. It was often a welcome break from all the musette top 20 stuff that was being hammered out.
Its mono, but not at all bad:-
Maurice Vittenet was a musette player, but they could nearly all do stuff like this if they got the chance. Relatively few of them recorded it though.
No big names, no fancy advertising, no glamour, just accordion from the days when the instrument had enough respect to feature in all sorts of music.
