Youd never think so to listen to him! ;)
Hi Tom.

Was waiting for somebody to tell me they were actually grey!

Maybe thats the PA version of monocoloured CBA buttons? Ive seen quite a few of them lately, but couldnt resist the mischief (as usual).

Ah, and I was expecting something like T.Rex Hot Love which would work reasonably well on black keys. I actually tried doing an accompaniment reflecting the rather single-minded character of the original and it is surprisingly hard to keep going consistently while putting the melody line on.

Got me on that one!

I have "composed" 2 tunes using only the black keys (and one whitey), key of C# if I remember right (maybe F#). It's a great key, if you ask me. Not so much for my upright bass playing friend, she hates the key (I think it's because she doesn't know the fingering positions; let's hear it for CBA!). Anybody else worked in these keys?

Fingering for C and F♯ is the same. An octave up is four buttons to the right, C to F♯ is two buttons to the right.

Now we just need somebody to transpose this to white keys only.

I don't know a lot about them, but I'm told that Scottish bagpipers usually tune their pipes to something "just above B flat".

Glad I don't live in the house above "B flat"!
