Midland Accordion Festival

This is held on the 3rd to the 6th of November 2017, at The Quality Hotel, Birmingham Road, Dudley, DY1 4RN. Bed & Breakfast, Evening meals and entry to the festival costs £227 PP.

Artists appearing at the festival are: Valerio Russo, Nigel Passby, Helen Newton, Alan Young, David and Angie Lukins, Jovan Rnjak, Malachy Cairns, Helen Rich, Rosemary Wright, Sue Bennett & Harry Hussey and The Master Butchers Band.

There are also a number of workshops run by Jean Hanger, Angie Lukins, Rosemary Wright, Sue Bennett and Harry Hussey.

Trade stands include Birmingham Accordion Centre, Alan Shute, Harry Kipling, Roy Hendrie and Rob Howard.

:lol: I just wanted to reassure readers that I'm NOT part of the Master Butcher's band and they would not be spending their cash to watch me play! Last time I heard (a couple of years ago), the Master Butchers' Band was an incarnation of Barry Smith's entertainment band with accordion, trumpet, vocals and drums and a London/cockney/music hall theme.

So no you wouldn't have to watch me!
